Last weekend Brandon Curry beat Cedric McMillan at the 2017 Lou Ferrigno Legacy. This was a shock for those who follow bodybuilding. Now we are a week later and they are both competing in the same show again. Bodybuilding is a funny sport, doesn’t matter what happened last weekend cause a body can change look in the matter of hours, let alone days or weeks.
Cedric McMillan vs Brandon Curry Rematch
A week goes a long way in bodybuilding and as you can see, Cedric was able to put it together to get the win. I wasn’t all that impressed by Cedric based on his other pictures. He has a problem controlling his midsection and he didn’t come in as sharp as he can be. Again, either didn’t peak properly or spilled over on carbs when trying to fill back up. Brandon looked good again on this show, but as I said before, if Cedric comes in even a little bit more conditioned, he takes the show. Unfortunately for Brandon Curry, he also didn’t look as conditioned as he was at the Ferrigno Legacy and he didn’t even place 2nd on this show.
Hadi Coopan isn’t a stranger in the bodybuilding scene. He’s been featured around youtube by some of the fitness channels if you follow any of them. His pictures have also flown around social media and he’s been getting lots of attention. As you can see from his picture, he showed up on point and looked strong with some of the major poses. He has good symmetry from top to bottom. I noticed that he has small forearms and it makes his arms look off balance. His triceps are bulky but they short and don’t end all the way at the elbow. Even though his trips and biceps sweep well, you can see during the front double bicep pose that there’s something off. Although he still has some work to do, the man looks pretty darn good. Enough to come in 2nd place and beating out Brandon Curry.
Front Double Biceps
I have Cedric winning this pose all day. Check out Hadi’s forearms, they look weird to me as if they’re not completely full. It may be genetic but this is a flaw and both Cedric and Brandon have much better arm flows.
I give this pose to Cedric. It looks complete and he’s clearly the biggest guy on stage. I don’t like Brandon Curry’s side chest here, I don’t see clear separation in the upper arm, his brachialis isn’t showing like it is for Cedric. As for Hadi, it’s not his strongest pose. He looks awkward here, although, I love how the leg separation and how it’s well balanced with his upper half.
Front Lat Spread
I have a tie here with Hadi and Cedric. I also like Brandon Curry’s but he doesn’t look as strong as the other two. My opinion I guess.
Back Double Bicep
I’m giving this to Cedric with Brandon second. Hadi’s back still needs to be developed further. I’m not seeing the thickness or the detail that Cedric and Brandon show on their backs. Brandon shows thickness in his upper back while Cedric has more detail. Cedric’s back is better overall but it lacks some depth. Brandon has the depth here but could use some more detail. I think he missed the mark on his conditioning for this show and why his back looks fuller. He probably spilled over slightly cause he doesn’t took as hard as he did last weekend.
